Star Ghana
STAR Ghana identified financial management challenges among the Grant Partners (GPs) based on quarterly reports submitted. Common issues and gaps were identified in the areas of Financial Planning, Budgeting, Cash flows Statement, Financial Records, Internal Control, Value for money (VFM) and Long term Financial Planning and Sustainability. Consequently, Star Ghana contracted CFY Partners to provide the services below to help resolve the performance issues among the grant partners:
- Facilitating GPs access to relevant information.
- Facilitating capacity needs self-assessments by GPs of their financial management systems and capacities.
- Supporting the GPs develop plans to address the identified weakness and gaps for possible STAR Ghana support.
- Support the implementation of each GPs CB plan using a mix of tools including on-site training, coaching and mentoring; joint training with other GPs, where relevant; and learning visit to other organization.
